Statement from Michael Sarnese, Vice President of Richland Pest & Bee Control
As a member of this 44 year old family-owned and operated business, I would first like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers well during these unprecedented times. As a pest control company, Richland falls into essential services by Governor Lamont’s guidelines put forth in executive order 7H. Insects and rodents must be managed to promote sanitation.
For our residential customers: Richland will continue to provide outside pest control services. We will practice safe social distancing on the job and ask our customers to do the same while we are on site. The technician will call and leave a message when we are on our way to the property, allowing all pets and humans to go inside the home. Once on the property, we will call and notify you that we are present. When services are completed, we will call and let you know we are departing from your property. All paperwork will be delivered electronically. For customers who must have inside services due to ant, rodent, or severe pest activity, we will only service the garage and basement. We ask you to vacate these areas while service is being done. We will follow all guidelines as set forth by the CDC. There are many pests which must be monitored and controlled to avoid other health and safety consequences.
We ask all clients to please move interior treatments out two (2) weeks from 3/23/20 if possible (contact 860-296-7100 or firstname.lastname@example.org) Richland may service garages and basements if there is an outdoor door/hatchway that allows us to gain entry. Richland will avoid living areas inside.
To all clients, please note that exterior services will be provided as regularly scheduled during the spring.
We truly appreciate your patronage and your cooperation in helping us keep our customers and employees safe.
